T.I. On His Relationship w/ Eminem (Video)

T.I. speaks with The Juice about Eminem and his support.

I haven’t had a chance to speak to Em since I’ve been home. I heard that while I was down, he was trying to get in contact with me, but I don’t know if the dots just didn’t connect. [Eminem] overcoming his own adversities, winning the battle against his own demons and continuing to break the mold and re-set the standard of what it means to be the most successful hip-hop artist in the game … I salute that to no end.

I love what he’s doing with Slaughterhouse. I love the move that he made to sign Yelawolf. And the record with him and Royce Da 5′9″. That record is going H.A.M. He killed that BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher. I’ve been peeping the move[ment].

In Eminem’s only interview at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival 2011, he and the other half of his new group Bad Meets Evil, Royce Da 5’9, got a chance to catch up with Fuse. The two sat down with Fuse’s Allison Hagendorf to talk about the lyrics of the song “A Kiss” off of their new album, where they reference Lady Gaga.

EMINEM: “I think Lady Gaga, as an artist you know, she’s undeniable, you know. That was one of them things where sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share it with the world, you know what I’m saying. So it was just one of them things man, and it’s you know it’s all in fun, its hip hop.”

“It is what it is, but as far as an artist, she’s dope, she’s an incredible talent.”
